ScholarshipsMembers of the Wound Care Association of NSW Inc (WCANSW) are invited to apply for scholarships to provide financial assistance towards attendance at Wound Care conferences and courses. Scholarships depend on the financial standing of the WCANSW. Scholarship applications must be received at least three months prior to the event.
Three types of scholarship are available:
- State Conference or Wound Care Course
This scholarship supports attendance at the WCANSW State Conference or the registration fees for a wound care course up to the value of $500, depending on the location and the course. - National Conference
This scholarship supports attendance at any national conference that is relevant to wound care issues up to the value of $1500, depending on the location. - International
This scholarship supports attendance at any international wound care conference to the value of $2000.

The Scholarship Committee will comprise of three to five members of the WCANSW Inc Executive Committee. The Committee’s decision will be final and no further communication will be entered into.
PLEASE NOTE: the WCANSW is unable to confirm receipt of your application, it is therefore, highly recommended to send your application by registered post & pay for an additional Australia Post 'delivery confirmation' service. Applicants will be notified of the committee’s decision as soon as is practicable following a committee meeting – Meetings are held monthly.
